OSM Engineering, LLC is owned by Bradley O. Carlson. Brad has been continuously active in the field of mechanical engineering since 1997 designing, manufacturing, commissioning and testing OEM equipment. Additionally, he has rebuilt the mechanical components on several lift bridges. Brad's first two years in engineering were spent designing, manufacturing, and testing tunnel-boring machines and associated components. 

Brad earned a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and is a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Minnesota. In the past 20 years he has been associated with several Seven Wonders of Engineering awards from the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE), including the Project of the Year Award in 2013.

For 17 years he designed numerous mechanical components associated with super marine cranes and large, specialty equipment. Brad was the project engineer on many major projects where he followed custom-designed, specialty equipment from inception to completion. For two years he led the engineering department as the Deptuty Director and Director of Engineering, with over 90 engineers in structural, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic disciplines. As part of his normal duties, he traveled worldwide supporting products and sales. 

Since 2017, Brad has been instrumental in the refurbishment of movable lift bridges as well as rebuilding many components on offshore, marine cranes. This includes engineering, design, manufacturing, and supply of components and equipment.
